about myself, my qualifications, and my business.
I come from Scotland originally, grew up in Canada & Scotland, and came to Australia in 1977, and now live on the NSW Cental Coast in Australia, where I run my art business from my studio/workshop in Berkeley Vale.
I am a qualified commercial artist, having completed a 4 year course, and hold a diploma from the Art Training Institute (Vic)
My artwork has appeared in newspapers, posters and flyers for businesses, councils, sports clubs etc. Most of our work is screenprinting, signwork. and airbrushing, recently becoming popular with the "custom car & bike" fans. I love doing this work too. As well as performing work for our own customers we also subcontract from other businesses including printers, sport and school uniform makers, embroiderers, signwriters and publishers.
My assistant Sandy is a talented artist who specialises in wildlfe art and Australian outback scenes. Links to her work are on the home page.

I TEACH ART CLASSES AT MY HOME WORKSHOP. STUDENTS CAN TRY ANY OF THE TECHNIQUES I USE IN MY WORK, FROM BASIC DRAWING OR CARTOONING, TO WATERCOLOUR, SCREENPRINTING OR AIRBRUSHING. CLASSES ARE USUALLY CONDUCTED ON A ONE ON ONE BASIS, HOWEVER I WILL TEACH TWO OR MORE STUDENTS TOGETHER, WHEN PRACTICAL. HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS PREPARING FOR MAJOR ART EXAMS HAVE BENEFITED PARTICULARLY FROM THESE SESSIONS WITH EXCELLENT MARKS.

DISCOUNTS ARE OFFERED FOR STUDENTS, UNEMPLOYED, OR PENSIONERS. 2 STUDENTS COMING TOGETHER COSTS $20 EACH.
